Northern Nomadics goals are to provide participants with the confidence to plan and undertake safe, comfortable kayak or snowshoe trips in wilderness areas whether for a single day, a long weekend, or a week or longer. Northern Nomadics' trips involve learning through experience the skills associated with trip planning and organization, traveling light, shelter, water, waste disposal, risk assessment and management, wilderness navigation, and survival in emergencies.
